Dr. Pamela Kidd
Dr. Pamela Kidd was born and raised in Jacksonville, North Carolina. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Fayetteville State University and her Master's of School Administration from North Carolina Central University. Dr. Kidd is a retired administrator and former Principal of Smith Middle School - Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools. She has served as a classroom teacher, interventionist, affinity group leader, and equity champion at McDougle Elementary. Dr. Kidd completed her Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Cultural Foundations at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Dr. Kidd has more than 26 years of experience in education, which has been a rewarding career and an amazing journey. She has been recognized as Teacher of the Year two times throughout her career as a classroom teacher. Dr. Kidd looks forward to pursuing work to support our schools and communities.
