Pamela McAllister

Pamela McAllister was born and raised in Jacksonville, North Carolina. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Fayetteville State University and her Master's of School Administration from North Carolina Central University. This is her 6th year as an administrator and she currently serves as the Principal for Smith Middle School - Chapel Hill-Carrboro City schools. She has served as a classroom teacher, interventionist, affinity group leader, and equity champion at McDougle Elementary. She is currently completing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Cultural Foundations at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. This is her 26th year in education and it has been a rewarding career and an amazing journey. She has been recognized as Teacher of the Year two times throughout her career as a classroom teacher. She looks forward to pursuing equity work to support our schools and community as the CRREI Board Treasurer.
